WTP Signals + ORB
WTP Signals calls it. The ORB confirms it.
This TSLA 5-minute chart pairs two indicators: WTP_Signals marks a SELL, the red arrow inside the light-blue circle, right as the candle breaks below the low of the 5-minute opening range plotted by the ORB. Signal and structure lining up on the same candle is the confirmation a trader looks for; TSLA fell from the high $420s toward $394 across the session that followed.

IV Rank times it. Volatility Box shows the range.
This INTC chart pairs two indicators: IV Rank flags IV Rank at 95, current IV 96.6%, a plain SELL premium read since premium sits in the 95th percentile of its own year. The Volatility Box and Squeeze stack alongside it for context, daily trend up, momentum up, and the expected daily/weekly range against POC, VAH and VAL, so once IV Rank says it's time to sell, you can see where price is likely to hold before picking a strike.

Yes. Every tool is written in thinkScript, ThinkorSwim's own study language. You paste the code into Studies, click Apply, and it draws on your chart. No plugins, no external software, no data subscriptions.

31 of the 103 are free: enter your email once and download as many of them as you want, including the full source code. The rest come with Elite membership.
How do I install one?+
Three steps: open Studies in ThinkorSwim, click Create, paste the code, and apply. Every free indicator page includes the exact steps plus a how-to guide covering settings, timeframes, and how to trade with it.
What do I get with Elite, and what does it cost?+

Do custom studies work in the ThinkorSwim mobile app?+
No, that's a ThinkorSwim limitation: custom thinkScript studies only run in the desktop platform. Your WeTradePro membership itself works in any browser, including on your phone.
Do I need a funded brokerage account?+
You need ThinkorSwim, which Schwab provides free with an account; funding requirements are up to Schwab. The indicators run locally on your charts and never touch your account or place trades.
