Privacy Policy
Last updated July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WeTradePro, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“WeTradePro,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website and platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Who we are (data controller)
WeTradePro, LLC is the controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at:
- WeTradePro, LLC
- 3801 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Ste E240-3502, Austin, TX 78746, USA
- Privacy contact: privacy@wetradepro.com
Personal data we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), provided when you create an account.
- Trader profile: your self-selected trader type and preferences.
- Trading data you provide: watchlists, notes, and trade history files (for example broker CSVs) you upload for analysis such as the After-Action Review.
- Marketing contact data: the name, email address, and trader type you submit to receive our “Morning Brief” email.
- Usage and diagnostic data: pages viewed, features used, device and browser information, and log data.
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited billing details (such as a confirmation and the last four digits of a card) but we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How and why we use your data (purposes and legal bases)
For users in the EU, EEA, and UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- To provide the Service: create and maintain your account, run the tools you request (analysis, signals, coaching, After-Action Review), and process subscriptions and payments. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To send marketing email (the Morning Brief and product updates). Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To secure and improve the Service: prevent abuse and fraud, debug, and understand how features are used through product analytics. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in operating and improving a secure Service.
- To comply with law: accounting, tax, and responding to lawful requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Automated analysis of your inputs
Some features process your inputs (such as questions or uploaded trade data) using automated models to generate educational analysis. Some of this runs on local models; other features send your input to a third-party processor (Anthropic) under an agreement that limits use of your data to providing the service to us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private trade data to train public models.
Who we share data with (recipients and sub-processors)
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors that help us run the Service, each bound by contract to protect it and to process it only on our instructions:
- Supabase: database hosting and user authentication (stores your account and app data).
- Resend: delivery of transactional and marketing email (for example the Morning Brief welcome).
- Anthropic: automated processing of the prompts and trade data you submit for analysis.
- Stripe: payment processing for paid plans.
- PostHog: product analytics to understand feature usage. Not currently active. If we enable it, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
- Alpaca: source of market data shown in the Service. This is market data, not personal information about you.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of WeTradePro and our users, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
International data transfers
We and our sub-processors are based in or process data in the United States. If you access the Service from the EU, EEA, or UK, your personal data will be transferred to the United States. Where required, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), as applicable. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.
Market data
The Service displays market data from third-party providers. That data is informational, may be delayed, and is not personal information about you.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and operate the Service (set through our authentication provider, Supabase). We do not currently run product-analytics or advertising cookies. If we enable product analytics (PostHog) in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent first. We do not use cookies to sell your data. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without essential cookies.
Marketing email and your opt-out (CAN-SPAM)
If you subscribe to the Morning Brief or other marketing email, every message includes an unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, and identifies the message as from WeTradePro. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing privacy@wetradepro.com. We will honor opt-out requests promptly. Transactional messages about your account and billing are not marketing and are sent as part of the Service.
Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except records we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, which we keep only as long as required. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your privacy rights (EU / UK, GDPR)
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to: access your personal data; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to certain processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect processing done before withdrawal). To exercise these rights, email privacy@wetradepro.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Your privacy rights (California, CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email privacy@wetradepro.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Other U.S. state rights (Texas and others)
Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. We do not sell your personal information. Contact us at the email above and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level security so that one user’s data is not accessible to another. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where required.
